Looks like another busy morning
Bitcoin is down slightly, so I got that decision wrong, I shouldhave waited. However, I'm in for the long term investment, and if I had waited, no doubt it would have gone upagain.
Cpanel on my multi-domain hosting warned me that I'm using 98.9% of my files allocation, but only about 8% of my allocated disk space, I get on well mith my hosting company, and they wouldincrease my allocation for no extra charge if I asked, but then I'm sure I would run that up toits limit fairly quickly. I prefer to keep it at its default, which is quite high by basic shared hosting standards, that way I keep a check on my domain activity. I've got a VPS account as well, and I need to spend some time sorting that out - at the moment it's hardly being used. One of the problems is the use of general responsive CMS systems. Xenu reports thousands of links on some of the sites. I need to decide which names I really want to keep as developed sites, and sell the rest. At the moment I've got 5 separate hosting accounts.
FruitMad.com was transferred to me, so that is another one needing a decision. Nobody claimed NameCougar.com at $25 in my Name Pros sig promotion, so I've upped the price to $250, and I'll leave it in my sales portfolio for a long term sale. Today's promo is HostingLegends.com for $25 - if any of my readers want this name, then please claim it. I'd be grateful for some feedback if you do, it would be nice to know where the sale originated.
3 of the names I'm transferring to Name Silo are locked by the current registrar - JetCash.com, RadioKuffy.com and Rustlers.net. I've no idea why they have done this, and that's more unnecessary work for me to have to do. I'll need to emil the old registrar to get the registrar lock removed.
I gave away a free domain name on NamePros - BlockchainFacts.xyz. I thought that was a reasonable usable name, and it was claimed fairly quickly. The guy sent me a PM asking how he could transfer it, and I provided a detailed reply. Sofar he hasn't followed through. It's only got a few days to expiry, and I'm not sure if I should re-list it, or just let it drop. If any Name Stag reader wants it, please let me know, and I'll try to contact the claimant again.
I installed "CMS made simple" on Bit Monthly.com, as I want to develop that into a selected crypto news site, and a place to list my crypto ( including Bitcoin ) names. Despite its name, the back office doesn't seem to be intuitive, so I think I'll remove that and use a different CMS. This is one of the advantages of a hosting account that includes Softaculous - it's really esasy to install and remove CMS packages.
I've started to move domains out of my hosting plan, and into the Name Silo market place. I'll list them here as I do it.
- Inland Mail.com listed with a BIN of $95

What a struggle Bit Monthly turned out to be. I didn’t like CMS made simple, and I got impatient with the back end of some of the others. Installing and removing various packages may have created some problems as well, In the end, I deleted everything, and removed BitMonthly as an addon domain. After an hour or so, I added the domain back, and I installed Subrion. That seems to be a fairly simple and basic CMS package, and that is what I want for this site. I’ve only modified a couple of bits, but you can see the progress so far by visiting the site.
